TechAid Support gets more business
We were recently called out to Tamar Organics who although having a support contract with another company were having severe problems with their server and unable to use their system.
Tamar Organics were unable to find out the Administrator password to their server as the existing maintenance company were not replying to their phone calls.
Once on site, we discovered that the server was performing so badly that copying data off was almost impossible. There was also no proper firewall in place and without access to the server, we had no idea what processes might be running. Fortunately, we were able to reboot the server into safe mode and make a backup of all important data, and help them begin using their systems again.
We are now in the process of rebuilding and reinstalling the server and infrastructure and are now responsible for checking their systems daily and giving them the proper support they need.
